By Chuck Faber, Academic Dean at Boise Bible College

I believe in Bible colleges.

My parents attended a Bible college. So did my two brothers and my sister…and my wife…and both of my kids…and my son-in-law…and myself.

Did we all go into full-time Christian ministry? Not at all. Three of us did. The rest of us have found success and personal satisfaction in a variety of career paths.

This surprises people who assume Bible colleges are only for people training for full-time Christian ministry.

This surprises people who assume Bible colleges are only for people training for full-time Christian ministry.

But really, it makes sense. In most industries, unless you’re just plain lucky or crooked, getting ahead requires three traits. And a Bible college education is designed to address all three!

Thinking skills

having a broad understanding of the world; being able to see the bigger picture; capable of learning and figuring things out; being able to make reasonable decisions

People skills

The ability to work well with people; being able to communicate effectively and to influence people

Character

Knowing right from wrong; living by one’s convictions; self-starting and self-disciplined; placing a high value on service to others

I believe in a Bible college education. I believe in Boise Bible College (BBC). I believe in the quality of the education BBC offers.
